Fun game
Very basic but gives the right survival feeling. Only problem Ive had is it crashes and tends to mud up my iPhone (6+), it causes weird behavior from my iPhone primarily lag though Ive also had screen lockups and stuck in landscape view, not a good idea to let it run In the background. If these issues could be fixed Id definitely recommend it.
Has potential
Was very excited to play this game since it seemed to be up my alley but I was turned away by how small the boxes and menu items were on my 6+
Good, but want it to be Great!
As a fan of SurvivalCraft and Radiation Island I have to say that A Tale of Survival is a game I had no idea was coming out until I checked AppShopper. When reading on it I just had to take the 99 cent challenge and must say I’m glad I did. This game looks, fits and plays perfectly on the iPad where you can easily access the controls compared to the iPod version. The only problem with playing on the iPod is the controls are kinda tiny and crammed but still manageable and looks cute like playing a Gameboy or PSP :) Right now I strongly give this little tike of a game 3 1/2 (basically 4) *s reserving the 5th * for the up and coming updates. But for now so far, so good.
Dont starve
This is a lot like "dont Starve" but no where as good. I highly suggest getting the app "Dont Starve" and forget this one. I gave it 2 stars just because it was 99 cents and deleting it didnt cost me much.
Needs a lot of Updates to make it Playable...
The game has a good idea going and for a dollar its not bad. Problem is that the game feels very unfinished and that the developers were unsure what it is they wanted to do with the game. The game randomly crashes so its annoying to constantly be kicked out and having to load the app over and over again. Sometimes enemies can attack you from far away, even though they dont have long range attack. I was being attacked by a bat that was nowhere on the screen. Sometimes you can pick up items off the ground by just touching them, sometimes items have to be hit in order to open a menu to pick it up,
